I have chronic Lyme disease as well as other co-infections that are transmitted by ticks. I have Bartonella, Babesia, and Mycoplasma. These other infections as well as the Lyme, make my symptoms and treatment much more complicated. My symptoms started 4 years ago with mild pain in my hands, feet and jaw. Slowly, muscle weakness, muscle tingling and fatigue began with shortness of breath and heart palpitations. This last year has been the worst with stabbing pain which moves from joint to joint and the dull ache in my entire body does not go away. My nights are often filled with tossing and turning and night sweats/chills leaving me exhausted and depressed. It's hard to keep going. A year and a half of antibiotics did not help, only destroyed my stomach which now I have a very strict diet.
After endless other failed treatments, I have decided to go to St. Georg Klinik Cancer and Lyme Hospital in Bad Aibling, Germany. I will be hospitalized for 2 weeks and will be undergoing hyperthermia treatment, along with other advanced medications and treatments that have been proven beneficial for curing Lyme disease. I am currently receiving I.V. therapy twice a week along with multiple supplements. I will continue I.V. therapy and other treatments for 6 months after my return from Germany. I finally have hope.
